Tiki torches paved the way for the start of the next land: Adventureland.
Judge Claude Frollo moved along in a bit of a daze. His mind had been preoccupied from the morning's events. Never did he expect to have his routine interrupted by such silliness. Nor did he expect to find the conversation with the Genie to be so engaging in the end. Frollo was not the type to admit to any kind of feelings, especially when it came to love or friendship. Genie had been determined to break through that stony demeanor of his. Esmeralda had done the same thing, but of course in a very different, unexpected way.
Looking around his surroundings, Frollo took notice of many palm trees, tikis, tiki torches and images of wild animals. The path had brought him to a flying carpet ride. The ride reminded him in some ways of the tea cups......to some degree that is. It went around in a circle, yes, but thankfully it did not spin. He had decided once exiting the tea cups he would avoid such a ride for as long as he possibly could! Why would anyone deliberately want to ride such a contraption!
Many people, families especially, mingled about. Frollo could not help but notice the smiling faces of everyone around him and how truly lonely it made him feel. A sneer began to form slowly, he was growing tired of all this goodness. Tired of this world, he wanted his old Paris back, he wanted the control he had back! Frollo stalked off, not sure where he was heading, but he needed to find a spot where there was not many people around. The locals with their strange clothing and accents were grating on his nerves.
Finding a dark, shady spot off the beaten path, Frollo slunk his tall form towards bamboo benches. The area was a little more deserted, thankfully. The Judge placed his head wearily into his hands and just sat in silence......which, much to his dismay, would not be for long.......[/color]
