The sun was shining upon the land and it reflected upon a large lake in the middle of a clearing. The tall moor grass swayed lightly in the breeze as a few birds flew into the lake. They lightly swam across it creating small ripples upon the water and occasionally would nibble on some plants that stuck out of the water. But a peaceful setting was not the only thing that was around. A pair of amber eyes flashed upon the birds. The eyes got bigger as the animal, or wolf, made his way closer to the water. He scowled and growled at the grass he was walking on.
Curse Aslan and his army for destroying my Queen’s land. The wolf snarled as he crushed the flowers beneath his paws. He despised the spring and summer weather especially since those two times meant that Jadis’ power was being crumbled. But even then, he hated the fact that he had gotten killed in the spring weather. Maugrim, still was surprised that he was alive. The last thing he could remember was lunging at Peter and then feeling a cold chill in his belly and then blackness. The captain of the secret police had assumed that he was killed at his hand.
But the next thing he knew, there was a light in front of him and he had no idea where he was going. Soon he awoke next to the lake and he had just assumed that somehow Jadis brought him back to life. With that thought in mind a cruel smile crept to his lips. It had appeared that this place was empty and he knew this was the perfect spot to starting claiming land back in the name of his Queen. Fear not my Queen, I will claim the lands back for you so we can take our revenge upon Aslan.
