introduce yourself.[/ul]
charrie basics.[/ul]
age: Possibly in his 40s.
species: Human/Genie
birthplace: Somewhere in the Middle East.
movie: Aladdin, Aladdin: The Return Of Jafar
title: The True Iago
why: I currently play Jafar on another place and he's One of my favorite Villians on earth. He's manipulative, suave, very scheming and just so much fun. I also think it'd be so awesome to have both a Genie and a Jafar on here. (Pardon some of my double spaces. Don't want some of my sentences to merge together.)

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: Jafar has thin line of moustache spreading across his lip as if it's a sneer. His goatee is long and forms a sort of squiggle underneath his chin. His eyebrows usually remain parallel with the movement of his eyelids. For instance, when his eyelids raise, so do his eyebrows. They are used for most of his facial expressions, the only time the lips are used is when either Jafar gets irritated or when he smirks or sneers. The rest of the time his eyes and eyelids move.
clothing style: Jafar seldom changes clothing. If he did, they would remain in the same pattern as his other Ones: a sort of robe with a sash around the waistband, a long flowing cape which has two sides folded on his shoulders. His turban has a single plume in the middle and a small red jewel shape underneath. His cape seems rather attached to the turban and might be tucked into it.
body build: Jafar is not an overweight man, he is fairly skinny but this is rather covered up by his bulky clothing. Jafar is quite tall, his height rising above six feet. His head is rather narrow but long vertically and his fingers are long as well.
any unique traits (optional) : Jafar is One of the few Villians with a goatee as well as One of the few characters to have been human before becoming well, more than human. He also is the only One to have wished to be a Genie.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough, about 3 sentences)[/ul]
history: Jafar originated as an unknown from a poverized village ruled by the wealthy. Witnessing the brutal treatment of the poor and freedom of the rich, the young man set himself to be One of the wealthy people and set out for a search of power. He learned dark magic from the poor and stole a cobra-shaped staff from a wealthy man in order to acquire a higher status. Roaming the streets, he met a caged parrot who was destined to be traded to a man who lived in the lowest area of the village. The parrot begged Jafar to help him and promised his undying gratitude and unending loyalty. The unemotional Jafar was well, unemotional to towards the parrot but nevertheless agreed to save him. The parrot did as he said and was named Iago. Perhaps Jafar foresaw his betrayal!
The Two roamed distant lands together and encountered One in turmoil. A young man was facing a kingdom that was fulled with chaos and lawlessness. Jafar offered to help the man, but with a price. The price was that, once the relieved ruler agreed, he was unwittingly placed under the control of his new aide. He coerced him into making new laws, such as the One that stated only royalty could marry royalty and the One against thieves.
During his time in Agrabah, Jafar had learned from a foreigner of a famed Cave Of Wonders that held a magical lamp. (The foreigner being the guy in the beginning of the movie!) The trick was that the key lay in a gold beetle that had been in Two pieces. Having already possessed One half since his youth, (He found it in the sand.) Jafar, who was now Vizier, hired a thief to find the other piece. And he did, but the thief was not very bright and was swallowed up by the Cave Of Wonders.
Since he's the most powerful Genie who could not be stopped, his lamp sunk but was never physically harmed. A merchant found it and the Genie inside was now angrier than ever but showed no sign of it towards the man, even he was the One who was responsible for the meeting between Iago and Jafar.
ambitions: Despite what all Jafar has done over the years, he has not yet achieved his true goals. Ever since he was a human, Jafar has dreamed of being ruler of the world and he has tried to control Agrabah ever since his appointment as Vizier. However, since Aladdin came into his life, his goals have been extended to getting revenge on him for those foul-ups.
strengths && abilities: Jafar can change his appearance and voice at will to someone he's already met, he has the power to zap things with his hands or eyes and even has cast a fireball a time or two. Jafar's physical strength has never been tested but it is likely that as he is a Genie, he can lift almost anything or even attack with brute force. His other ability allows him to change from human form to Genie form.
flaws: The flaws of Jafar are that he really isn't as powerful a Genie as he claims to be. His transformation from Genie to human form is rather vampyric as he must return to Genie form 24 hours after he becomes a human or else. He is only weakened if t=his lamp gets burned but it's a different matter with being crushed. If it is smasheh, crushed, etc., no more Genie time. For his moral flaws, Jafar has grown cockier since the grant of his powers and has lost of the foresight he had when he was human. He now tends to underestimate his foes and this can contribute greatly to his destruction.
likes: Jafar likes power and wants more of it once he gets it. If they make him mayor, he will campaign for president; if they make him that, he will campaign for dictator. Just as long as you don't oppose him or if you go along with it, you'll be on his good side. However, there have also been times in which he has smiled at bravery and opposition. He does like a challenge, it makes him feel more significant and it provides an opportunity for him to mock those who do take a stand.
dislikes: As much as Jafar likes a challenge, it irritates him when the challenger gets the upper hand. Power was meant for him, not for anyone else. Besides, he cannot stand embarrassment due to being defeated by someone lower than he. If there's something else you don't do to Jafar, never set conditions for him. Power shouldn't come with do's or don'ts nor should commands. If he requests something, it should be done.
fears: Jafar has all the physical power he ever wished for. He can change his whole appearance, has powers beyond humans, and, is presumably the most powerful Genie ever. The only problem would be if all the power he has gained was taken from him right then and there with a snap of a finger, or unless suddenly somebody finds out his weaknesses and uses them to their benefit. Thus is why Jafar wanted to get back at Aladdin in the first place, so he could eliminate the street-rat before vice versa. So, he fears the loss of his powers and his destruction as well as the street-rat who had outwitted him before.
what makes this character unique: Jafar is the first human Villian who has ever lusted for more and gained it by the end of the Movie. He wished for all the powers in the world and it was actually granted to him and not taken away in the first movie! That was actually quite a feat never to be done again. And I believe Jafar was also the first Disney human who could hypnotize people and had special powers.
RP SAMPLE: Jafar stood in the darkness, ready for that street-rat he had so been ready to kill. Now the moment had come and his goatee was not dripping of sweat but of malice. Malice and Vengeance. That little thief had taken Jafar's only chance of becoming Sultan and ripped it up. No worries, he was still a Genie. How ironic that the One who had granted that wish was not powerful at all but a worthless blue lump! That idiot tried to tell there were some "Quip-quod-Quo's" or some rubbish like that! Jafar knew better and realized that with ambition, power had no limits.
When was this stupid piece of filth going to show up, the ex-Vizier was getting really irritated. He was lucky he could still impersonate Jasmine, she had lured him here in order to 'talk to him'. That idiot, divorced or not, the couple still had feelings and he knew it. He peeked his head out with an elegance that defied his very thoughts.
Where the heck was-oh. He was coming. Yes! Jafar quickly changed into the form of Princess Jasmine. Vengeance was now at hand and nothing, nothing would be held back!
