Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's Linda, and I wished upon a star from Been here since the beginning. My other imaginary friends include Basil, Panchito, & Bowler Hat Guy. Gadget and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!

Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: Gadget's hair is long and thick. It is sort of dark blonde in color. She wears it loose with only her goggles to keep it out of her eyes. Plus, her body is covered with light brown fur.
Facial description/mood/expressions: Large blue eyes with long eyelashes. Pert little nose. Never wears make-up, but still very pretty. Innocent expression. You might even say innocuous. Usually cheerful, can be sympathetic.
Clothing style: The word that best describes her clothing is 'utilitarian.' She generally wears coveralls with goggles for eye protection. No jewelry; she has none. Gadget doesn't even own a dress. Her favorite colors are pink and purple.
Body build: Petite just about covers it. She's not physically delicate, no matter how she looks. Gadget also has a graceful, slender tail.
Any unique traits (optional):
Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality: Gadget is the resident techno-whiz of the Rescue Rangers. She's a scientist, an inventor, and very good at both. However, since she is almost completely self-educated, her knowledge is erratic and unsystematic, sometimes resulting in bizarre creations and mechanical disasters. Gadget rarely gets discouraged; she just goes back to the drawing board.
Gadget is nice, just plain nice. Nice, affectionate, cheerful, kind and sympathetic. Helpful to a fault, Gadget gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and believes the best about others until she sees proof to the contrary.
But for all her braininess, Gadget also has a pronounced streak of innocence. She knows little about social interaction and inter-personal relationships, which sometimes leads to social blunders and an unfortunate tendency to say the wrong thing.
History: Gadget was born in upstate New York, the only child of pilot and adventurer Geegaw Hackwrench. When his wife died tragically, Geegaw never got over it, retreating with his baby daughter to almost total seclusion, becoming a virtual hermit for the rest of his life. He removed every painful remembrance of his late wife from his life, so that, to this day, Gadget knows nothing about her mother, not even her name.
Geegaw's friends were few and scattered around the globe, and Gadget grew up isolated, meeting outsiders rarely, with her dad as her only companion. The few people she did meet were nice, and she did her best to be friendly, but Gadget's unusual interests and lack of practice made it hard to cultivate any real friendships. The one exception was Monterey Jack, of whom she was very fond, although his world travels kept them apart for years at a time.
Gadget's education came from books, her engineering skills from tinkering with machines, and her knowledge of the outside world from television. She preferred playing with tools to playing with dolls, and spent much of her childhood taking things apart and putting them together again, though the reassembled product didn't always turn out as expected.
It might seem a lonely life to some, but it was the only life Gadget ever knew, and she was content until her father died from a debilitating illness. After a year of living completely alone, she met Monty again, and he introduced her to Chip and Dale. They together formed the Rescue Rangers, a band of rodent crime-fighters who help animals, and even people in need. Gadget packed up her tools and moved to New York City, where the group set up their headquarters in Central Park. Gadget built many of the modifications herself, adding, among other things, a hangar stocked with a small fleet of rodent-sized vehicles. Gadget's inventions are her main contribution to the team, though she is also capable of some fair amateur detective work on occasion.
Gadget has been told by many that she is beautiful, but she really doesn't see herself that way. When she met Chip and Dale, they both apparently fell head-over-heels in love with her. Gadget had read stories about love at first sight and wished she felt the same. But where was the dizziness, the pounding heart, the violins? Isn't that what you were supposed to feel? A lot of her ideas come from books and films, some of which may not be entirely realistic.
Ambitions: Gadget is not a very ambitious mouse. Generally, she finds contentment in every situation by making the best of things as they are. She does desire to help people, mostly by fighting crime. She also loves to learn and discover new methods, spending a lot of time in study and experimentation. Her secret wish is to marry and start a family, the family she never had.
Strengths & abilities: Her scientific know-how extends to practically every branch, and her mechanical ability is prodigious, though transportation is her specialty. She has limited knowledge of first-aid. Her dad taught her to be self-reliant, and she can cook (nothing fancy) and sew a hem or repair a seam, but making an entire outfit would be a major undertaking.
Flaws: She tends to talk too much and she sometimes forgets the safety precautions her inventions should have. Although highly intelligent, Gadget has more book-smarts than common sense. She can be socially awkward and her trusting nature easily taken advantage of.
Likes: Gadget's favorite things are intellectual: science, machines, new technology. But she also has a feminine side and enjoys flowers and romantic songs. Like all mice, Gadget likes cheese, and, although she spent most of her life in solitary pursuits, she loves making friends and helping people.
Dislikes: An empathetic mouse, Gadget dislikes criminals, lying and mean people. Her sensitive nature shies away from stories with unhappy endings, and she has a peculiar antipathy towards salesmen.
Fears: Aside from the normal dangers that are part of a mouse's routine existence: traps, cats and other predators, Gadget's one true fear is accidentally hurting some innocent party with her inventions.
Anything to add?: What makes Gadget unique are the conflicting aspects of her personality: brainy and innocent, practical and romantic, boyish and feminine.

PAST TENSE ONLY. MUST BE ABOUT THE CHARACTER FOR WHOM YOU ARE APPLYING.
Gadget arrived at the park gate, eager to begin her vacation. Since joining the Rescue Rangers, she'd traveled to a lot of places, places she'd only read about before. But this was the first trip she'd ever taken on her own. Sure, she was used to being alone, but the young mouse generally preferred company, and she hoped she'd make a lot of new friends along the way.
There were a lot of areas of scientific interest here at Disney, especially Future World, a place devoted to new technologies. That was the spot for Gadget! She wanted to explore every pavilion and learn all she could, not just for the practical use she could put her new knowledge to, but also because learning new stuff was so much fun!
Besides the pavilions, shows and displays, Gadget had read that a lot of innovations were used behind the scenes in the parks. She hoped to look into those things, too; to find out just what made the attractions tick. And, best of all, the whole place was rodent-friendly. It was kind of a pain to have to hide from humans all the time, when all Gadget wanted was to be helpful. Here, at last, she could just be herself without worrying about traps or predators, or even criminals.
She paused just inside the gate to sniff the flowers planted there. There was more than technology here: there was beauty as well. Maybe even romance...
