AKA that game I talked about one time on the forums.
Well, as of now, it's confirmed. By some of the new things going around, it seems more and more like a must-buy everyday. Rather then destroying the company's image, it's now starting to sound much more like an interesting tribute to the Disney legacy.
The plot is this: When no one longers care, forgotten things are taken into a dark void. Anything applies to this, forgotten characters, forgotten rides and forgotten cartoons. The leader of this void is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Disney's first creation. Bitter at Mickey for stealing his fame, he's despised him for many years. At last, he's ready to set a plan into motion. Working with the shapeshifter criminal, the Phantom Blot, the Blot is sent to pollute the Disney Universe, making the world twisted into a former version of itself, with characters [minus the Disney villains] disappearing. Oswald wants to have one last face-off with Mickey, and decides to have things back to 'the way things should be', making Mickey into his Steamboat Willie counterpart, minus the uniform.
Beetleworx, a robot of Oswald's design, begin to corrupt the world he knows. They act like parasites, merging together and using the audio-animatronics as bodies. The Disney villains, such as Hades, Jafar and Maleficent are in control of these monstrosities. Mickey must repaint the world back to the way it was, erasing, creating and such. He'll have to make it to Sleeping Beauty's Castle to stop Oswald from having his way. Along the way, he'll have to make it through some of the attractions, such as Pirates, the Haunted Mansion and some locations from the old shorts, such as the Clock Tower from Clock Cleaners. This story will be told through animated cutscenes, and they are working closely with Disney and Pixar to make sure they stay true to the Disney spirit.
All in all, I'm extremely hyped for this game.
