It seemed as though the parks, specifically Magic Kingdom, were more crowded then usual whenever a 'holiday' was drawing near. In this case, Halloween was drawing close, and that meant lots of tourists wandering around the Magic Kingdom dressed up in intriguing and ridiculous costumes. In larger hoards then normal...
The Horned King loathed being in a large crowd of tourists, so he made it a note to steer clear of the Magic Kingdom for the time being.
Today, he found himself in Epcot. It wasn't very often that the Horned King found himself in Epcot...
He could only recall two times in which he visited Epcot, and both times he had to take shelter from water: the first time was during hurricane Widmore and the second during one of the smaller storms that were common in 'Florida'(ironically, he had to take shelter in an aquarium).
To his relief, he could not sense any storms heading his way, and it seemed as though today will be as bright and sunny as usual.
The Horned King wasn't much of a 'bright-and-sunny' person, but he preferred bright and sunny over rainy weather...
That was one of the problems with going around outdoors: he wasn't sure when it would rain... At least there were plenty of buildings around for him to take cover in.
As for the crowd? Well, there were alot of tourists in Epcot, but compared to Magic Kingdom, the park seemed barren. Not that the Horned King was complaining. The Horned King preferred being alone, though it would be nice to have something to strangle every now and then...
What was that little goblin, Creeper up to, now that he was gone? That little suck-up would try everything in its power to be on the Horned King's good side(unfortunately, there wasn't much of a good side to the Horned King). Now that the Horned King was gone, Creeper was free. There was no one to strangle him anymore.
The Horned King was not oblivious. He knew that Creeper hated him, and for good reason. The Horned King always put the blame on Creeper whenever things did not go according to plan and whether or not it was his fault. But did the Horned King care? No. Not in the slightest. Let the little goblin think what he wanted, all that mattered to the Horned King was punishment for failure. All that mattered to him was being feared by his minions. Fear meant power. Fear meant control...
But the little Creeper was not here. There was no one to fear him, save for Eilonwy, but she would not give in to her fear. And Ariel. The Horned King had told Ariel that he was evil, yet she did not back down. With no one to fear him, he felt that he was no longer in control...
Then again, he was keeping a low profile until the little Pig-Boy arrived here. That would be the time to unleash terror upon the parks...
But until then, patience... Patience...
But for how long? He was tired of waiting. Even the Horned King had his limits...
If the Horned King were human, such a sudden sound would have probably scared him to death. Twirling around, his gaze fell upon... The remains of a giant, blue balloon ball which now lay in a heap on the ground in front of his feat. Glancing upward, his gaze fell upon two teenagers, both of them with a befuddled expression on both of their faces.
The Horned King merely shook his head and made his way over to one of the nearby benches to read a few pages of 'The Shadow over Innsmouth', one of the books that Maleficent allowed him to borrow for a week or two...
{{OOC: I sort of ran out of things to write, so I added a balloon popping sequence... ;D
Uh-oh, reading... }}
