Goliath strode through the streets of this strange, new place, wings wrapped around him like a cape, searching, always searching. He just knew that Elisa was here, somewhere. He just had to find her.
Which could be difficult, given that it was nighttime and he had no idea where anything was, let alone WHERE he was. With a frown, he glanced up at the sky, gauging. No, he didn't have much time at all until dawn was upon him.
That just meant that he would have to make himself a mental map of the place, and search night by night, interrogating those people he did meet, and never giving up.
He would never give up, not until he had found her, not until he knew that she was all right. And the next time he saw Xanatos, he was really going to have to just kill him. He had to be behind this; there was no other logical explanation for it. Why else would Elisa have disappeared into this ... place, and why would he have been able to follow her.
Oh, no. It was probably a trap. Either for him or for the rest of the Manhattan clan. But, they would be all right; they had Hudson. And Brooklyn was a fighter, too. They could handle themselves. They would be all right. They had to be all right.
Besides, trap or not, there was absolutely no way that Goliath would willingly abandon Elisa, not unless he was dead. And even then, he would fight until his very last breath to find her, to protect her.
But now, it was too late. The sun was rising. His search would have to wait for another night.
With a sigh, Goliath knelt on the ground, assuming his traditional "Thinker" position, ready for a stone sleep.
