Age:
Cub: about 5-8
Teen:15-16
Adult: 18-20
(though depending on the thread I’ll be switching around his forms, if that’s alright)
Species: Lion
Birthplace:The Pridelands in the Serengeti, Africa to be more precise
Movie: The Lion King
Title: I’m gonna be a mighty [KING]!
Why: The Lion King. Let’s just say that I saw it when I was a kid and it was just purely MAGICAL, pretty much hooked me for the rest of my life movie wise, so basically I’m obsessed. It’s my all time favorite Disney movie, always has been, always will be.Plus I thought that choosing Simba as my pick of a character should be rounded out equally so that there's 2 of each. 2 human, 2 purely animal.

Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)[/ul]
Facial description/mood expressions: Simba can usually be seen with a smirk upon his face because he's pretty much always up to something or getting in some type of trouble. His expression is also that of a gentle and kind lion though his facial expressions can quickly change to that of a fierce one when needed.
Clothing style: Since Simba is a lion, he doesn’t wear clothing, but he does have golden brown fur accompanied with a creamy muzzle, stomach and paw toes. His eye patches for the top part of his eyes are light brown in color with creamy under his eyelids.
Body build: Simba has a small scrawny body as a cub, which is probably pretty typical. As a teen he begins to grow much larger in size, though it's pretty odd considering he ate bugs for most of his life at this point in time. The adult form of Simba is very muscular for a young male.
Any unique traits (optional) : Nope

Original character analysis. (Everything must be in your own words! Please be thorough.)[/ul]
As a cub, Simba is quite cocky and show offish, with a touch of bravery thrown in. He tends to boast about his status as future king, especially to Zazu, but that’s just because he’s excited. When he’s a teen, we can pretty much add laziness to the mix due to him living in the jungle with Timon and Pumbaa eating bugs and the like all the time. Finally as an adult we see him as still cocky, brave, and somewhat lazy, with guilt and protectiveness thrown in.
History:
Simba was born to Queen Sarabi and King Mufasa in the Pridelands, and the entire land rejoiced in the birth of the young prince. Well almost everyone. You see the king’s brother Scar loathed the fact that the cub had been born and had stolen his place for the throne. Time passes and Simba grows into a healthy, playful, young cub. Early one morning, he and his father climb to the top of Pride Rock and view the kingdom. Like any young child, Simba had quite a few questions, especially about a small dark spot in the distance to which Mufasa warns him NEVER to go there. After his pouncing lesson, which didn’t end up like he wanted it to, Simba decides to pay his Uncle Scar a visit. He excitedly tells the lion that he’s seen the kingdom and that he’s next in line, which angers Scar greatly internally. Unfortunately Simba slips out that he saw the darkened area to which he finds out is actually an Elephant Graveyard.
Promising his uncle that he wouldn’t visit, the cub runs off to find his best friend Nala. Well, he does find her but unfortunately she’s getting a bath and to his dismay Simba receives one as well. After persuading the mothers to let them go off to play at the waterhole like they had requested. The two cubs jump around in excitement until Sarabi says 7 words that would probably make any child cringe. “As long as Zazu goes with you.” Great NOW they had to deal with the bird! While walking to the waterhole, Simba and Nala begin whispering about how they'd get rid of Zazu, who unfortunately takes it a love whispers and explains to them that the two are in fact betrothed to one another. The two cubs begin to tumble and pounce on one another landing in a dark ravine littered with elephant bones and skulls. They were about to explore a very large skull when laughter erupted from inside. It was a trio of hyenas!
The trio begin a very long chase after Simba and Nala who eventually get trapped underneath some elephant bones. Letting out his loudest roar, Simba attempts to scare off the hyenas who rather just stand there, laugh and urge the young prince to go again. A very loud roar erupts when Simba roars again. It was Mufasa! After scaring off the hyenas and scolding the two cubs, Mufasa explains to Simba about his actions and what the consequences might have been if he had not arrived there in time to save him. Early the next morning, Scar takes Simba down to a gorge and tells him to wait there since his father has a big surprise for him.
Not wanting to disappoint his father again, the cub idly waits on a rock and practices his roar which in turn causes a stampede of wildebeest to turn on the poor cub. Running for his life Simba makes it out of the gorge alive and well thanks to Mufasa, who sadly dies in the process due to Scar. Crying out for help, the cub mourns his father’s loss and is told by his uncle to run away. Ashamed, confused and scared, Simba runs away due to his Uncle's telling him to and keeps running until he collapses to the ground in a desert. There Simba is taken in by a fast talking meerkat named Timon, and a slow but lovable warthog named Pumbaa.
Time passes, and Simba grows up living in the jungle forming a close knit trio with Timon and Pumbaa. One night while they were looking up at the stars, the meerkat and warthog pry upon Simba’s star theory. He tells them that they’re what his father liked to call, “The Great Kings of the Past.” All they end up doing is laugh at him. With a sigh he rises up and walks off to think, falling down on a patch of weeds sending the seeds up and flying. The seeds eventually make it into the hands of a mandrill (well more like Baboon mandrill crossover but I digress), named Rafiki.
Rafiki examines the seeds and makes a startling realization. Simba is ALIVE! But I'll save that exciting part for later. One morning Simba is relaxing as usual when he hears the screams of his two friends. Running to their rescue he begins to attack a pale lioness in order to defend them but stops when he's flipped over onto his back. Utterly surprised and excited, we find out that said lioness is actually Nala, his cubhood friend. The two lions decide to spend some time catching up and after a lovey dovey musical number, the two walk off deeper into the jungle, where Nala explains to Simba about what's happened during Scar's reign. The pride-lands are in ruins, all the prey is gone, pretty typical bad King type of stuff that we see in films.
Anyway the two get into a heated argument about whether Simba should go back to save his kingdom and such which pretty much ticks him off and he leaves Nala to cool off. Pacing back and forth, he begins to yell at the heavens about how his father said he'd always be there for him and breaks down crying.
A voice is heard from behind him chanting:
Asante sana squash banana
Wewe nugu mi mi apana!
Which is pretty much translated as "Thank you very much squashed banana! You are a baboon and I am not!"
Boy that gets annoying fast, at least to Simba it did anyway. The monkey didn't stop singing it at all! It was driving him CRAZY! So Rafiki and Simba pretty much introduce themselves to one another when the baboon makes a startling comment. "Sure I do...you're Mufasa's boy.", and takes off. Simba, of course, follows him and explains to him that his father died a long time ago. Claiming that he's wrong, Rafiki beckons the young male to follow him and the two end up at the Magic Pool. Ok ok, here comes the awesome part! Ya ready? Are you sure? Because your mind is about to be blown...
Simba looks into the water and hears a voice, looks up, and sees the ghost image of Mufasa above him forming in the clouds. "You are my son, and the one true king, remember who you are." Mufasa tells him then vanishes just as quickly as he came. With some sense now having been knocked into him, the male returns home to see his homeland in complete ruins. Timon, Pumbaa and Nala tag along to help fight which isn't going to be easy. While Timon and Pumbaa are creating a diversion, Simba slinks off to find Scar who is speaking with his mother, Sarabi. Scar hits her and knocks her to the ground, causing Simba to appear out of the shadows and run to her aid.
Surprised by the male above her not to be Mufasa, Simba tells her that it's....well him. Scar is quite surprised by this fact and uses Mufasa's death against Simba forcing him to the edge of Pride Rock, dangling above a fire. Scar reveals to the prince that HE killed Mufasa. Summoning all his strength, Simba leaps up and pins Scar to the ground yelling at him to reveal the truth about the Stampede to the entire pride, of which he does and then sends a group of hyenas at Simba and a fight begins. Seeing Scar slink off through the fire Simba pursues him and has him trapped at the very top of Pride Rock.
After "apologizing" Scar turns to leave but sends hot coals flying into Simba's eyes and attacks him. The two engage in battle leaving Simba lying on his back and Scar lunging towards him. Pushing his back legs Simba flips the male down pride rock, his ultimate fate? Getting eaten by the hyenas, his so called "friends".
So here we are, at the end of the history, Simba and Nala become King and Queen, the Pridelands are restored to its former beauty, and that's pretty much about it. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go take a nap to restore the energy to my fingers.

What makes this character unique: Simba....well in my mind he's pretty unique to me because, he's the first Disney character that I had absolutely fallen in love with as a child and the love continued to grow into adulthood. It's very interesting to see how he handles each situation at different ages because his personality changes in some areas quite a bit from time to time.
RP SAMPLE:
Cub:
This was it. The elephant graveyard. Oh man this was SO AWESOME! Simba could barely contain his excitement. "This is it....we made it!" Climbing up a small ridge he pulled himself up and stared in complete awe at the millions of bones that seemed to lay before him and Nala, his best friend. His dark rimmed ears picked up slightly at her comment. "It's really creepy..." Creepy? Ha! Girls couldn't handle anything scary. "Yeah...isn't it great?" he replied back with a smile. "We could get in big trouble..." Nala was pretty much always the conscious one of the two cubs. "I know." he replied with a smirk as he stared at a large elephant skull before him, a small idea popped up into his head. "Hey let's go check THAT out." Unfortunately, the young prince was stopped suddenly by Zazu, the majordomo. Simba let out a groan. Looks like the fun was over, for now at least.
Teen:
Ah, this was the life! Eating bugs pretty much every day, relaxing when he wanted to, yup, Simba had everything he could possibly ever want in his life. He'd already beaten Timon countless times in bug-eating contests. What else was there left to do? Lying on his back he stared up at the sky, as he often did and stared at the clouds. Something was missing in his life...or more like someone. "I miss you Father..." he said softly as his expression became that of a sad one remembering what had happened to Mufasa when he was a young cub.
Adult:
"She's completely wrong..." Simba muttered as he paced back and forth through the tall grass. Who was SHE to tell him what he should and shouldn't do? A growl emitted from his throat as he sad down and looked up at the stars. "YOU SAID YOU'D ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME!" he yelled at the heavens. "But..you're not and it's because of me..." Tears started to form in his eyes at the never-ending nagging memory that seemed to stay put. The wildebeest, his father climbing out of the stampede, it all seemed like it happened yesterday. Exhausted he laid down letting the tears flow freely, the tears that he had kept bottled up for so long inside him.
